January is typically still winter in many parts of the country, except here in San Diego. We get pretty steady weather all year long. Our winter looks like Spring because if we do get rain, it creates such beautiful life in our landscape. The Maehler family joined me at Dos Picos for their family session. Their daughter is graduating, so it served as a dual purpose session. They are a fun family! As you can see, they hit the bridesmaids pose flawlessly! I laughed a lot

The Ostrander family embraced the beauty of our small country town landscape when they chose Barnet Ranch Preserve for their maternity portraits. I loved the styling that Lindsay did for her family. Everyone looked comfortable, but put together at the same time. She wore a bronze velvet dress that was absolutely gorgeous, and she paired it with cowgirl boots. Of course I loved the cowboy hat that
